My story

My story begins in a humble home in Porto Alegre, Brazil. In this home was a single mother and a little boy. Although that little boy aspired to one day fulfil his passion in technology, he came from a poor family and had to work hard to support his mother from a young age. Even putting food on the table was a struggle, much less the luxury of automation! Sadly, technology was but a faraway dream.
Despite the grim circumstances, the boy did not give up on his ambitions. His one enjoyment in life was playing games – through which he taught himself to speak English. He soon proved to have a voracious appetite for knowledge and also taught himself to play the guitar. As the years went by, he realized that to move forward in life, something needed to change. He learned that he had to maximize his productivity and time management for the best rewards.
Of course, that little boy was me. It was thanks in no small part to my self-learned strategies that I managed to break free from life’s vicious cycle and attain a full scholarship. I went to college, pursuing a technology-related degree, and graduated in 4 years – you could say I was ahead of my time! And finally, my childhood story ended in a happy ending, with my lifelong dream realized when I was hired into the technology sector by SAP. I brought the life to the party there as the youngest contractor, up until 2010.
Leaving my mother in stable hands under my new income, I moved out to live by myself at the age of 22. In 2016, I was married to the love of my life, and we moved to Spain the following year. During my time in Spain, I worked as an IT Manager, greatly enhancing my resourcefulness – a quality I personally hold in high importance – as well as my time management.
I was living the life I could only have dreamed of. However, I truly learned that self-improvement does not stop with your first ambition. My wife and I were spurred on to pursue new opportunities and challenges, bringing us to Warwick in the United Kingdom where we live today. This is but the beginning of my story, and one that I hope will stretch on along with my life experiences.

My personal strenghts

Creativity, ingenuity and originalityhelp
Creativity, ingenuity and originalityclose

Whenever I encounter a problem, I always try to think out of the box for a solution.
I believe that the path less travelled is the route to success and am always looking for a better way to do things.

Everyone may have their fears, but that does not make us less brave.
In my opinion, bravery is the will to fight and overcome our fears.
Even though I may be anxious about new situations, I will continue to fight and not give up.

I put my all into making people smile – when others are happy, so am I.
With the world being as harsh as it is, being upbeat and seeing the funny side of things is important to me.
I always enjoy a good joke when it’s due!

Instead of seeing my problems as obstacles, I look to them as avenues for growth.
I think it’s important to look at the bright side of things and take mistakes in stride.
My optimism is strongly linked to my drive for creativity, causing me to believe that there is always a better method nobody has discovered yet.

Curiosity and interest in the worldhelp

People say curiosity kills the cat, but in my case, I like to say that curiosity inspires the soul.
With my unending thirst for knowledge about how the world works, I am always up for testing new solutions in any aspect of life.
Another of my interests is automation – a perfect mix of curiosity, optimism and creativity!
